this might be nothing but i can't stop thinking of fiddleauthor being incredibly mattfleck coded. like to me, post-weirdmageddon the stans spend their summers off-boat in gravity falls with mabel and dipper. so ford and fiddleford become friends again, learning how to trust each other again as ford spends his time figuring out how to reverse the effects of the memory gun. and as they spend time together and fiddleford returns to himself, they share their story of incredibly deep friendship to the point that fiddleford basically turned down being steve jobs to come live in ford's house and help him achieve HIS dream, literally leaving behind his wife and kids to do so, and everyone just raises their eyebrows at them like. which could mean nothing.
